Surapa Thiemjarus is a researcher from the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand. Prior to joining NECTEC, she was an assistant professor at the School of Information, Computer, and Communication Technology, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, Thammasat University. Teaching topics include Data Warehouse and Data Mining, Knowledge Management and Knowledge Discovery, Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. She has supervised/co-supervised 12 master and 2 PhD students. She has authored/co-authored over 60 scientific publications and 3 book chapters, and filed 10 national/international patents. She is currently a managing editor and an associate editor of the IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (J-BHI).
